PLANNING HYPOTHESIS
The group (118 students) will be split into 5 smaller groups of 25 students each.
5 workshops will be offered in different locations:

1. Ecology on Comacina Island: studying the ecology of this ecosystem, with a focus on the lake.

2. Communicating sustainability along the Greenway: a walk along Tremezzina Greenway, a beautiful natural path, to enjoy and appreciate this beautiful landscape but also an opportunity for students to think and try to learn how to communicate the values and fragility of this system to a wider target of people in a very hands-on workshop.

3. Landscape boat tour: studying the landscape from the lake, with a different perspective and seeing it from a boat. A practical workshop to help visualize the complex elements that make this landscape so beautiful.

4. Naturalists on Lake Como: acting as young naturalists in a meadow, with a special focus on entomological biodiversity.

5. Cheesmaking: human activities shaped the territory through years, and those that have been managed in a sustainable way, such as small scale and traditional agriculture, have contributed to the balance of many precious ecosystems. Students will take part to the life of a traditional farm, producing a local cheese.
